Stigmatics

Description:  Reported cases of stigmata take various forms. Many show some or all of the five Holy Wounds that were, according to the Bible, inflicted on Jesus during his crucifixion: wounds in the hands and feet, from nails, and in the side, from a lance. Some stigmatics display wounds to the forehead similar to those caused by the Crown of Thorns. Other reported forms include tears of blood or sweating blood, and wounds to the back as from scourging. Some stigmatics claim to feel the pain of wounds with no external marks; these are referred to as invisible stigmata. In other claims, stigmata are accompanied by extreme pain. Some stigmatics' wounds do not appear to clot, and stay fresh and uninfected. The blood from the wounds is said, in some cases, to have a pleasant, perfumed odor, known as the Odour of Sanctity.  ndividuals who have obtained the stigmata are many times described as ecstatics. At the time of receiving the stigmata they are overwhelmed with emotions.

No case of stigmata is known to have occurred before the thirteenth century, when the depiction of the crucified Jesus in Western Christendom emphasized his humanity.[2]

In his paper Hospitality and Pain, Christian theologian Ivan Illich states: "Compassion with Christ... is faith so strong and so deeply incarnate that it leads to the individual embodiment of the contemplated pain." His thesis is that stigmata result from exceptional poignancy of religious faith and desire to associate oneself with the suffering Messiah. (Read more on Wiki)

A few famous stigmatics consist of St. Francis of Assisi (the first stigmatic), Padre Pio,  Emma de guzman, Twinkle (the girl that cried blood),  Therese Neumann and Julia Kim of Korea Video of Julia Kim ONE & TWO.
I include Twinkle as a stigmatic simply because some people have reconize her as a stigmatic because she has all the characteristics of a stigmatic yet she doesn't contribute her condiction to anything supernatural.

If you wonder what the church thinks of stigmatics then you may want to know how they deal with the people who claim to have received the wombs.  The church seem to be OK with Padra Pio but not too thrilled with the claims of Korea born Julia Kim.  The church is so disturbed by Julia Kim that she has been officially excommunicated by the catholic church.

How to fake stigmata?  Have stigmatics been debunked?  A few people claiming stigmata have been caught by the church faking their wombs.

Is it just me but does all the blood and gore of the stigmata kinda gross you out?  I don't understand how suffering could be so miraculous and awesome but hey what ever floats your boat right.  I don't get it so if someone could explain that would rock!

video of stigmatics and stigmatics debunked. (is it real or not?)  How to fake Stigmata?  Is it a miracle?  Why is getting something as the terrible pain of the stigmata so glorious?
